In a captivating clash between Loughborough Lightning and Strathclyde Sirens at the Sports Halls in Emirates, Nuba’s presence was truly awe-inspiring.

With her flawless display and a scoring rate of 93%, she demonstrated her prowess as she contributed 40 goals to Loughborough Lightning’s dominating 72-36 victory.

Her exceptional performance not only propelled her team to success but also cemented her position at the top of the league’s goal-scorers’ charts with a staggering total of 325 goals, leaving her nearest rival, Sigrid Burger of Severn Stars, trailing behind by 58 goals.

Meanwhile, on a different court, Peace Proscovia and Haniisha Muhameed represented Surrey Storm in their thrilling encounter against Leeds Rhinos at Sheffield EIS.

Though the final result may not have favored their team, Proscovia’s resilience as a Goal Shooter shone through as she valiantly contributed 41 goals to her team’s effort.

This brought her season’s tally to 197 goals, placing her comfortably as the fifth-highest goal-scorer in the league.

Alongside her, Muhameed showcased her defensive prowess, ranking second in terms of gains with an impressive 37, and securing the tenth position for the Most Intercepts with a tally of 10.

As the dust settled from the intense matches, Loughborough Lightning, led by the exceptional Mary Nuba, currently holds the second position in the league standings, hot on the heels of the table-toppers, Manchester Thunder.

On the other end of the spectrum, Peace Proscovia’s Surrey Storm finds themselves in the seventh position amidst the competitive landscape of the ten-team league.
