Good Luck to Uganda U16 Girls Team as They Travel for UEFA U16 Friendship Tournament

Breaking out of his youthful shell, Ali Mwirusi, the former KCCA goalkeeper, has secured a significant move to the Squires Gate Football Club.

Having left a lasting impression with his performances in the U23 category, the Blackpool-based club wasted no time in adding the promising talent to their roster on a two-year contract.

Formed in 1948, Squires Gate is positioned at the 9th level of the English Football Pyramid system, eight tiers below the English Premier League.

The club enjoys significant success over the years, including clinching the West Lancashire League Division Two in 1981 and triumphing in the Rawling Shield in 1949.

Mwirusi’s addition to the Squire Gate’s goalkeepers’ battery holds massive potential, and it will be exciting to see what the club can achieve with him.
