Namibia Eagles start strong with victory over Cricket Cranes in T20 World Cup warm-up game

In their first warm-up encounter ahead of the T20 Men’s World Cup in the West Indies, the Cricket Cranes locked horns with the Eagles of Namibia in a thrilling contest.

Opting to bat first under the night sky, Uganda won the toss but faced challenges with the delayed arrival of Simon Ssesazi.

This led to a slight reshuffle in the batting order, with Robinson Obuya taking up the opening role alongside Ronak Patel.

Obuya showcased an aggressive batting display, scoring 38 runs, while Patel and Alpesh Ramjani made early exits.

Despite Roger Mukasa’s resilient half-century, Uganda’s middle order failed to contribute significantly, resulting in a modest total of 134/8 in their allotted 20 overs.
