Yadah FC Strengthens Goalkeeping Ranks with Ugandan Signing

Get ready for a reunion! Ugandan goalkeeper Derrick Kigonya is reportedly on the verge of joining Yadah FC in Zimbabwe, where he’ll be teammates with former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat.

Kigonya, currently a free agent after leaving Trident FC in Zambia, brings a decorated career to Yadah FC.

He’s donned the jerseys of Forest Rangers (Zambia), Sofapaka (Kenya), Azam FC (Tanzania), and Ugandan teams Soana FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.

Yadah FC, founded in 2013, will be Kigonya’s first taste of Zimbabwean football.

This move not only offers Kigonya a new challenge but also presents the exciting prospect of a potent defensive partnership with Billiat.
