The organizers of the Ankole Cup have launched the fixtures for the 2026 version that can formally kickoff on Saturday, June sixth at Bushenyi.
The event will comprise 13 districts from Ankole area and have been grouped into 4 teams.
Group A has Bushenyi district, Sheema district and Ntungamo district whereas Kazo district, Ibanda district and Kiruhura district are in group B.
Group C has Isingiro district, Rwampara district, Mbarara Metropolis and Kashari whereas Group D has Buhweju district, Rubirizi district and Mitooma district.
The opening fixture can be held on sixth June at Bushenyi Essential Stadium, with Bushenyi taking over Sheema within the opening match.
The primary match in Group B can be between Ibanda district towards Kazo at St. George PTC on Sunday, seventh June whereas Mbarara Metropolis will lock horns with Kashari within the Group C sport the next day at Nyakayojo.
On Tuesday, ninth June Mitoma District will host Buhweju district within the first sport of Group D at Ruhinda SS Playground.
