The State Minister for Schooling and Sports activities (Sports activities), Hon. Peter Ogwang, has reaffirmed authorities’s dedication to supporting youth soccer improvement.
Whereas addressing the Triumphant CECAFA U-17 Teen Cranes at a luncheon held on Thursday at 4 factors Sheraton in Kampala, Ogwang hailed FUFA for the continued progress in soccer improvement.
“On behalf of the Authorities of Uganda, I congratulate you for profitable this essential competitors. Soccer improvement on this nation is on the proper trajectory and seeing these younger gamers obtain success at this stage of their careers is a transparent indication that the longer term is brilliant.”

Ogwang challenged FUFA to strengthen the transition pathway between college soccer and membership soccer, significantly for women.

The Teen Cranes humbled Tanzania 3-0 to clinch the CECAFA U-17 Ladies’s title, in reality they managed 5 wins and scored 26 objectives with out conceeding.
