Potters Bar City advised BBC Sport the sport was postponed “following a severe incident involving a member of our administration crew”.

“Police attended the bottom and, following their involvement, the match was unable to proceed,” the membership added.

“Our supervisor is receiving applicable medical care and the membership is supporting him totally.

“The matter has been referred to the related authorities, together with the league and the FA, and we’re in search of formal recommendation. As that is now topic to ongoing processes, the membership won’t be making any additional remark at the moment.

“We thank supporters for his or her understanding.”

BBC Sport understands the Soccer Affiliation is trying into the incident.

Asserting the postponement, Welling mentioned: “The membership will likely be making no additional remark at the moment.

“Additional information relating to the rearranged fixture will likely be communicated sooner or later.”

Welling United have been contacted by BBC Sport for remark.

Nick Robinson, chair of the Isthmian League, advised BBC Sport: “The league is conscious of this matter and are awaiting the written reviews of the alleged incident.

“We can not remark additional at the moment.”
